Powered by the belief that it’s their people who make their company what it is, Rentokil Initial prioritised their staff by undertaking a workplace refresh to embrace a new collaborative way of working.

Rentokil Initial provides products and services to protect people from the dangers of pest-borne disease, the risks of poor hygiene or from injury in the workplace. After working from home during the pandemic, they were struggling to get their people back into the office.

Their existing fitout was dated and the workspaces and breakout areas had the feel of a warehouse or storage room.

The current layout no longer supported new ways of working and their current training facilities had become insufficient to meet their needs.

We created breakout and lounge spaces to encourage staff socialisation and to create a ‘sense of home’ in the office.

Solid walls were replaced with glass to increase the natural light and create a feeling of openness. Operable walls were installed in key areas to maximise use and flexibility of space.

We incorporated their own products into the design both from a functional perspective and also to create pride in their brand.
