A relocation for Eppendorf provided the opportunity to create a new workspace and laboratory that reflects the company’s focus on innovation, quality and experience.
Eppendorf is a leading life science company that develops and sells instruments, consumables, and services for use in laboratories worldwide. With an upcoming relocation for their head office and laboratory facilities, they wanted to create a space that would attract staff back to the office.
Our design solution located the breakout as a central hub for the work area, encouraging staff gatherings and socialisation. We introduced quiet rooms, hot desks and collaboration spaces to support a more hybrid way of working for the Eppendorf team.
An injection of colour adds vibrancy and warmth to the design, and better reflects their human-centric brand values.
The laboratories had to be designed and constructed from the ground up and carried some very technically specific requirements.
We designed and developed an independent HVAC system to control humidity specifically for the lab. The room was designed to be completely sealed and independent from all other services in the building to maintain constant levels of temperature and humidity.
The lab was critically important to us. It had to be temperature and humidity controlled and quite frankly, Crest was the only company who truly understood that requirement. They were the only ones that came with a solution.Matt Banfield, Managing Director
