Location: Sydney CBD
Floor Area: 89sqm2
Staff No: 7

Sydney Criminal Lawyers is a team of trusted and experienced Criminal Lawyers based in Sydney CBD

With the need for additional space due to consistent growth within their Sydney Office, Sydney Criminal Lawyers took the opportunity to purchase a second suite in the same building to cater for this progression. This brought with it the opportunity to showcase their new office through a more refined approach, aligned with how they sought to project themselves to their clients.

The look and feel of the front of house spaces is timeless and tailored and its overall sophistication united by a carefully curated palette of materials, including marble, fabric panelling, warm wood, and a black glazing suite paired with contemporary furnishings of tan leather and grey green velvet to evoke a sense of illustrious hospitality throughout.

The brief was to create a space that broke down existing silos, leading to a flexible, agile and welcoming environment that their employees and customers would be inspired by and feel proud to be part of.

A copper tinted mirror wall with brass inlay detailing provides not only a bold feature within the reception space, it also helps overcome the challenge of a small space to feel larger by creating depth, movement and reflection.

Location: Emu Plains
Floor Area: 480sqm
Staff No: 5 + 38 Training

Health & Safety Advisory Service is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), that along side tailored WHS consultancy services, provide high quality WHS training, high risk national training and assessment programs.

Due to increased demands on their current premises, Health and Safety Advisory Service took the opportunity to acquire an additional property in the same street and in turn partnered with Crest to design their new multi-functional training facility.

Their new two storey premises includes two training rooms divided by an operable wall allowing for greater training flexibility. A simulation room was designed to accommodate two large machinery simulators. A large breakout with associated amenities on ground floor adjoins the training rooms as well as the main entry allowing for industry trainees to relax in an contemporary, industrial styled space during break times. A timber tread, steel framed stair leads to the first floor which accommodates three educator offices, staff workstations, utilities, amenities, shower, catering kitchen and smaller staff breakout.

The Industrial look and feel underpinning the aesthetics of the design was generated by focusing on Health and Safety Advisory’s industrial client base, ranging from civil construction to government funded infrastructure projects. Finishes were selected for their robust performance and the colour pallet chosen to align with the Industrial feel of the interior. Quirky design features such as the vinyl inlay tyre tread, rope feature screen, angled perforated metal wall and tyre tread glazing graphic further emphasis this style.

Eppendorf, a company with its registered office in Germany, develops, produces and sells products and services for laboratories around the world.

Eppendorf took their recent office relocation as an opportunity to focus on what mattered to them as a business, in both a function & aesthetic way as well as look at opportunities to adopt an agile working environment.

Their new space in Macquarie Park includes a humidity & temperature controlled testing lab, a large breakout space connected to the boardroom to accommodate town hall meetings or training days, quiet rooms, hot office, lockers for all staff and collaboration spaces to encourage agile working.

The move to agile working was driven by Eppendorf and it was a big shift for them culturally as they came from quite a traditional workspace and it as something they were quite passionate about adopting in their new space.

The bright pops of colour create a unique and inviting space that feels fresh and inspiring and creates a whole new mindset for the staff working there.

Sterling Parts

Location: Smithfield
Floor Area: 622sqm (office)
Staff No: 22

Sterling Parts, around since 1997, is one of Australia’s key players in new aftermarket replacement automotive parts.

From the start of the project, Sterling Parts had a very clear vision of what they wanted to achieve within their office space. They wanted a modern, professional space that felt like a commercial office. The space was originally a tile showroom and had a disjointed layout, lots of hard surfaces and an inefficient layout for an office space. As a result, staff were split across the two floors with outdated bathroom facilities and no formal meeting spaces.

We worked closely with Sterling Parts to bring their modern office space to life and this included a complete refurbishment of the two floors with new ceiling, carpet and furniture, bathroom upgrades, a new internal staircase, updated external façade and company signage.

The works, now completed, have left Sterling Parts with a new air of professionalism in a space specifically designed for them and their corporate image. The overall impression to staff and customers alike, has been greatly improved.
