PROJECT REVIEW

SALES & MARKETING OFFICE FITOUT

This sales & marketing company is a leading independent Australian-owned specialist in business to business incentives, reward recognition and promotional programs.

The need to accommodate their ever-growing staff numbers saw this company relocate to larger premises, creating the opportunity to refresh their look.

The company was after an image that reflected both their corporate colours and their young and dynamic team. From these two concepts came separate colour schemes which were then used to differentiate certain parts of the office.

The corporate colour scheme of green and grey is utilised in the client based areas of the office. It begins with the reception and continues its way through to the boardroom, meeting rooms and even the kitchen.

A fresh, smart colour scheme of blue, black, silver and white was used for the staff workstations due to its durable yet bright nature.

Challenges set to incorporate a sense of teamwork throughout the office were reflected in an open plan layout with small, casual spaces for meetings within a teams designated work space.

This project was a complete design & construct including a new reception area, meeting rooms, presentation kitchen, bathrooms & offices, as well as supply & installation of workstations & joinery.

“First Impressions Last”

3
This is the truest of sayings, the first impression for any company is the reception. Receptions represent the personality of both the company and its staff, so creating the right reception will show the vision and values of the company.

The reception is the first and last thing your client will see upon a visit to your office. There are many aspects which can increase the power of one’s reception. Minor design details such as colour, material, lighting and signage can have a positive effect on the perception of your company.

Client based areas such as the boardroom and meeting rooms require the same standard of design as the reception. The continuation of certain aspects helps to strengthen the outlook of your company and create a comforting atmosphere for both staff and clients.

As well as colour and signage, layout is vital. To optimise the reception area, it needs to be divided to allow suitable space for all elements such as the reception desk, waiting area and displays. You have to allow suitable space at the reception desk, but also create a comfortable sized waiting area.

Your company may not have the need for a reception desk as such, but still need a place for visitors to wait. This creates the opportunity for simple yet sophisticated designer elements.

Whether it be reception, waiting area or foyer, Crest’s project consultants and in-house interior design team are here to assist in creating your company’s ‘First Impression’.
